Established in 2004, the school is
owned and managed by SIDDHARTHA

Annual Examinations and subsequent
programmes, were already announced.
Our institution is developing, and
the classes are proposed, up to +2

7 acres of land, blessed with scenic
splendour. As on this day, we have
194 students on roll, 16 teaching
staff and 08 supporting staff. We
have a double storied building, with
spacious class rooms, computer room
and activity rooms for various activities.
The construction of the newly proposed
4 storied building will begin in August
2005. The plan and the sketch were
approved by the management and the
approvals from other offices are in
progress. A budget of Rs. 54 Lakhs
is estimated for the construction
of the new block and I am pleased
to announce that an amount of rupees
20 Lakhs is already sanctioned to
meet the initial expenses of the construction.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Our main objective is to provide,
top quality CBSE education, to the
children of common people, with nominal
fee structure. We admit all the children,
without any discrimination of caste,
colour or creed to all classes. We
are committed to produce the best
results in both curricular and co-curricular
activities and encourage our students
towards excellence.
INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY
The complete information of the staff
and the students are available at
the finger tip of the principal with
the help of latest information technologies
like Computer. This helps the principal
to know the child in depth like personal
information, academic performance,
health, living standards etc. Each
and every visit of the parents are
recorded at the time of the meeting
which will be redirected to the concerned
teacher for remedy
CLASSIFICATION
The school is classified into 3 sections
- The Pre-KG,
KG and the
Primary School.
The Pre-KG and KG is under the control
of the Headmistress Mrs. Shailaja
Mohan assisted by Miss. Shani Imamudeen,
Mrs. Sanitha Kumari and Miss. Divya
ACADEMICS
We emphasize the all round excellence
of our students. To foster their needs,
we supplement our teaching through
audio-visual aids, worksheets, projects
and assignments. Our system of promotion
is based on academic merit, comprehensive
and continuous evaluation as directed
and recommended by the CBSE. All our
teachers are committed, experienced
and highly qualified. The student
teacher ratio of our school is 12:1.
Constant meetings and refresher courses
help the teachers to enhance quality
teaching and it further helps the
students to develop self learning.
REMEDIAL
TEACHING
All the students who are found weak
in different subjects are given remedial
coaching in the concerned subjects
on all regular working days. This
special coaching helps the students
to improve their academic standard.
COMPUTER
LABORATORY
The school has a well equipped Computer
lab with half a dozen computers. The
computer education is free for children
from LKG to Class 2. From class 3
onwards, a nominal fee is charged
for the computer education. Our Consultant
is the famous course and curriculum
designer, COMPUGEN, who are pioneers
in the computer education field for
the last 10 years
SCHOOL
NEWS LETTER
The school is bringing out a News
Letter “The Wings”,
to bring out all the important news
and events of our school, for the
information of the students and parents.
The news letter also brings out articles,
paintings and drawings of our children.
COMMUNICATIVE
ENGLISH
Being a CBSE school, and as per the
directions from the CBSE, New Delhi,
the classes are to be handled only
in English except the Malayalam and
Hindi language classes. Having felt
the need to improve the standard of
English of all our children, we have
introduced the ‘Communicative
English’. Two
periods per week per class are allotted
exclusively for improving the standard
of English. A qualified teacher is
appointed exclusively for the same.
SCHOOL TRANSPORT
SYSTEM
Transport facility is one of the major
issues in the educational field. To
provide our education facilities to
all the students including outstation
students, we are operating the school
transport up to a radius of 15 kilometers.
At present we have 2 mini buses and
we are planning to buy 3 more new
buses to meet the above requirement.
CO-CURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
We foster and promote the overall
fitness of our students through various
indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor
activities include Art,
Music, Literary Activities, Youth
Festival, Health and Physical Education
etc. Out door activities include Athletics,
Sports and Games etc.
HOUSE ACTIVITIES
The students are grouped in four Houses
namely Jasmine, Lilly, Lotus and Rose
House. Each house is headed by team
leaders called House Patrons, Associate
House Patrons, House Captains, House
Vice-Captains and House Prefects.
All the group competitions were conducted
house wise and to encourage maximum
participation, all individual competitions
were held class wise. Altogether a
number of 446 trophies were distributed
to the children of our school where
as the strength is just 180.
CLUB ACTIVITIES
The school has 04 active clubs. Each
club is led by a teacher of the concerned
department. The Arts club is led by
Miss Rekha M.R, the Science Club by
Mrs Deepa Pradeep, the Crafts Club
by Mrs. Najuma Beegum and the Music
Club by Mrs. Sindu Mohan.
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
The School assembly is unique for
its variety and procedures. The assembly
formalities are different from a typical
school. The special formalities include,
question of the day, word of the day,
do you know? etc. in addition to other
normal assembly formalities. The school
assembly provides ample opportunity
for each and every student to take
part in it, by assigning responsibilities
to all the classes from 1 to 5. The
assembly in charge is Mr. C.V Rajesh
who is the coordinator of the co-curricular
activities.
CLASS ROOM
CLEANLINESS
The cleanliness of each classroom
is inspected by a team of teachers
and an ever rolling trophy is awarded
every Monday to the winning class.
The competitions are held in three
categories – Category 1 (Classes
LKG and UKG), Category 2 (Classes
1 and 2), and Category 3 (Classes
3, 4 and 5). The best class is adjudged
by a panel of judges and an ever rolling
trophy is awarded for the best class
of the academic year. The teacher
in-charge of the class room cleanliness
inspection is Mrs. Radhamony.
STUDENTS’
CLASS ROOM PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
We do not have any corporal punishment
in the school. Instead the performance
of each student in a class is evaluated
by all the teachers who are teaching
in that class. A “Star”
(*) is awarded for the merit and “Stripe”
(/) for the demerit. This Star/Stripe
or merit/demerit system has encouraged
the effort of the students in scoring
marks and even for their excellent
behaviour.
HANDWRITING
IMPROVEMENT AND NEWSPAPER READING
Different from other schools, we have
allotted 15 minutes for copywriting
English in the classroom itself from
classes 1 to 5 every day before the
class begins which is the most effective
and rare practice. This is in addition
to the normal copy writing to be carried
at home. This copy writing practice
really improves the handwriting skill
of all our children.
The ‘Newspaper reading’
is another special feature of our
school only. A Malayalam and English
newspaper is circulated among the
children of class 4 and 5 for reading.
After their reading, the teacher discusses
the main headlines and other important
news events. Mrs. Sulabha is in charge
of this peculiar mission.
INTERACTION
WITH PARENTS
The Open House System enables the
parents to have an active and creative
exchange of ideas with the principal,
class teachers and subject teachers
before and after each and every examination.
A parent must have visited the faculties
at least 10 times since the beginning
of the school. This enhances a proper
communication between the parents
and the teachers to take remedial
measures and ensures the progress
of every child.
